During our years at the University of the Pacific we ran an internship that sent new campus leaders literally all over the nation. In the years after we left Stockton the internship went into moth balls. That left the entire Southwest with no training center for new campus missionaries. Therefore, one of our biggest goals when we first took the West Coast Area Director roles was to raise up new internship.br / br /This fall, not only are we launching the first of these new internships, we are doing it with some of the smartest leaders and innovative training ideas we have ever seen. The program is being tri-directed by our Stanford Director, Glen Davis, our UC Davis Director, Jennifer Klier and Curt. This literally is our dream team. It will take place on multiple campuses in Northern California. Including a diversity of training sits will help us reach more students and include more of our talented staff. br /br /The best news however is the quality that we are already seeing in our first class. Semra Alagoz, Tim Oldenkamp and Marc Madrigal are sharp, passionate and fun to work with. They will train for ten months working closely with one key campus leader to learn theology, small groups, teaching, preaching, worship and serving students and the campus community in general. With them, Chi Alpha’s future is in good hands. br /br /By Grace,br /The Harlowsbr /br /PS Curt has finally starting doing the video podcast (titled curtcast) again.
